Ciao Lorenzo, Thank you again for all your assistance during our visit to Firenze. We had a fantastic time and just loved the apartment. The central location made it so easy to stop back into the apartment to take a quick break, get something to drink, rest and cool down before heading to the next site. We could not have done so much if not for being able to take those breaks at the apartment. My husband and I were delighted with the apartment - it was small but cosy with everything we needed. Very central and we would stay there again if we visited Florence. I highly recommend it to anyone who visits Florence.

My sister and I had a great time in Florence. This apartment was in a great location right in the middle of all the action. Walking distance to tons of shops and eating places. The apartment was very nice and clean. Lorenzo did a great job with communicating with us the whole time up until we arrived all the way until we checked out. I would definitely recommend this place for 1-2 people. Just a heads up...the bed and pillows were just a little too firm for us, but maybe its perfect for you!

This year was the third time that we have stayed in Michelozzo B and we absolutely love it! It was clean, the location is perfect (just steps from the Duomo and Piazza Republica) and the deck was amazing. We also find Lorenzo extremely easy to work with and very professional. We will definitely stay in Michelozzo B the next time we visit Florence.

The appartement is conveniently located within a short distance by foot from all the interesting places in Firenze. It´s pleasant in summer time when the weather is hot because it´s cool without any air conditionning. The only drawback is the lack of sunlight which must be difficuklt to support in intermediate seasons with no sun outside

This is a great apartment. The location is superb and you are at the steps of the Duomo in 1 minute. Lorenzo is an incredible host who was very helpful upon our arrival. He gave us a lot of information about the apartment, the area, what to see, and gave us discount cards for several restaurants. He gave us tips about the museums to avoid long lines, and safety/security considerations during our stay. Communication with Lorenzo prior to our arrival was great as well. he was very good at responding to emails, and his english is great. the apartment has air conditioning which was a perfect place to escape from the mid summer heat, and we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine on the private terrace. The apartment offers a small kitchen for those who wish to prepare your own meals and save some $$ by not eating at restaurants all of the time. lorenzo kindly showed us where the grocery stores were on our map so we could do this. There is a small clothes washer included that we found useful on our long vacation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Michelozzo Pefect location, comfortable homely and secure apartment with gr The apartment has a great locality, close to sites, station and markets. It is clean and comfortable and the patio is a great bonus. Arrangements for meeting up on arrival could have been easier. We did not carry a phone so it took some time to find a phone to let Lorenzo know we had arrived. Otherwise all went well and we enjoyed our stay very much. We certainly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

The apartment was excellent. It was furnished comfortably and had everything one could possibly need for a short or extended stay in Florence. The terrace was fantastic. Most of our time in the apartment was spent on the private terrace. The apartment´s location was great- a short 10 minute walk from the trainstation, and basically within walking distance to every museum, market, and historical site. Both Lorenzo and his wife, Letizia, were most welcoming and would check in periodically to make sure everything was satisfactory. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone desiring to stay to Florence. The only downside is the noise of the delivery trucks and recycling/garbage trucks in the early morning, but it is something we became accustomed to very quickly. We would definitely return again and would highly recommend it.

This apartment was perfect, it was in the centre of the city and close to everything. The kitchen is great for cooking with everything you need. The bathroom has been recenty renovated. The bedroom is huge and the bed was really comforable. Lorenzo the apartment owner was superb, he was helpful and was quick to respond to any problems we had or any questions. I would definitely recommend you to anyone visiting Italy. For the location and the price, it was great. We are so pleased with our stay in this studio apartment, particularly because it was literally steps from the Piazza Duomo. The large sunny terrace was perfect for our breakfast and even lunch on occasion - it is one of the main reasons I chose to stay here. Lorenzo and his wife were most helpful in arranging for a driver to pick us up and a taxi when we left. In addition, they provided information on restaurants and shops, plus a couple of bottles of very nice local wine! With a pizza place just downstairs, and a wonderful restaurant (Robiglio´s) just across the way, we were well taken care of. Thank you again Lorenzo - we would love to come back for another visit.

Stunning! My wife and I spent 4 weeks this terrace apartment. It was so enjoyable we hated to leave. The pictures in the listing didn´t do it justice. It was better than expected. Florence is a great city. Everything is within a short walk. And this apartment is in the center of it all. Restaurants, museums, nightly walks to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, gelato! Stepping out of the entranceway you are right across from the Duomo. The terrace looked down on all of the activity in the street. The clop clop clop of horses pulling carriages underneath and the chiming of the bells added to the feel of Florence. Lorenzo was fantastic. Right there to help out. Running into him on the street one day really made it feel like “home“. However temporary. The studio apartment had a small kitchen area and we prepared many meals there that we ate on the terrace. The apartment was very comfortable and well maintained. We had friends from the states come by and we shared wine and biscotti with them on the terrace. It was memorable. We can´t say enough about our stay here and the wonderful time we had in Florence. Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I stayed here for 2 weeks with 3 other women and we couldn´t have asked for a better location or apartment! The centralized location meant we were within easy walking distance to EVERYTHING and being able to spot the magnificent Duomo from everywhere made it easy to always find our way back home again as the apartment is directly across the street from it. The Duomo was the first thing we saw every morning and the last thing we saw every night-- I didn´t even need to lift my head off the pillow to see it. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen perfectly sized and fully equipped for our needs, and we really appreciated the full-size refrigerator. The lift was a total blessing as the stairway in the building is very narrow and there are no lights along the way. An information book left in the kitchen was an amazingly wonderful bonus as it listed nearby grocery stores, internet cafes, transit info, emergency numbers, and other useful info. We booked one of the tour guides listed, Francesco, to take us on an all day tour of Tuscan villages with wine tasting and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We also hired Francesco to transport us to the airport when we left Florence. Only negative thing we encountered was the high level of noise from the street at all hours of the day and night-- but then we were there in late April to early May and there were 4-5 national holidays during that time with parades out in front of the building and late night partying apparently going on nearby every night. Great to be in the hub of things but difficult if you´re a light sleeper. These accommodations were perfect for our needs and I wouldn´t hesitate to stay here again (November??) or recommend to anyone.

I had a great time during my four week stay in this apartment. It was amazing to live in the middle of the historical centre and really be part of Florence for four weeks. The place was clean, tidy and more than well equipped. It had absolutely everything I needed (and more). Also, Lorenzo was very welcoming and easy to deal with in the booking, entering and leaving the flat.

We loved all our accommodation throughout Europe but our stay in Florence was wonderful and your apartment absolutely beautiful, we were so sad to leave. You have asked us to evulate your accommodation 1. The apartment was perfectly clean, with an extra 100% for the linen and bath towels. 2. On the internet the apartment looked great, but when we arrived it was stunning. 3. Lorenzo, you were extremely helpful. 4. We have stayed in one of these apartments (there are four) on three separate occasions over the past couple of years. They really do represent a better alternative to a standard hotel room in central Florence: they are remarkably well located, just round the corner from the Duomo; they´re spacious, and have sitting/eating areas too; you get a kitchen/kitchenette (including a fridge); free wi-fi; air-conditioned (much-needed in the middle of summer); and each apartment has a separate large furnished terrace, surrounded by greenery - a little warm in the height of summer, admittedly, but a huge bonus nonetheless, particularly when you´re returning from a day´s sight-seeing and want some peace/space.

Hi Lorenzo, You may remember we were staying at apartment Michelozzo last week and left yesterday (22nd). We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay in the apartment which had everything that was necessay and in a perfect location. We particularly enjoyed the use of the terrace at the apartment. We also wanted to thank you for your help and consideration and in particular a big thank you for the lovely plate you were kind enough to give us which we only had chance to look at properly when we arrived home. It was very much appreciated. Also today is the first day I have looked at e-mails and have noticed that you sent a message in respect of a visit to Casentino last Wednesday. I apologise for not responding to this but on holiday we do not access e-mails so had no knowledge of it. Hi Lorenzo, Thank you very much for everything, you were extremely helpful. Trip feedback Start time 8.30, a little too early for us, 9 am would have been better. Minibus was very comfortable, Francesco excellent driver and it was great having you both guiding and translating. Being in a small group was very nice. 5/5 First stop with hams, excellent 5/5 Flour mill, excellent 5/5 Cheese stop, excellent 5/5 Wine stop, excellent 5/5 Ceramic factory, was a shame it wasn´t working 4/5 Butchers, interesting for us, but maybe not for other people 5/5 Herb stop, excellent 5/5 Castle stop, beautiful setting 5/5 Fabric, wool stop, interesting 4/5 Vineyard, beautiful, very. nice wine 5/5 Lunch, excellent, but I´d recommend a smaller lunch, maybe primi course only or with a light salad. It was too much food for everyone, especially as we´d been trying all the cheeses and meats. The sparkling wine was a lovely touch. Maybe an ice cream factory would be nice. Have recently stayed in the large comfortable apartment on 1 Ricasoli with 4 other friends. It was perfect and roomy for 5 adults. This is the third time I´ve rented from Lorenzo Clemente and each time has been a pleasure. During our week there, Lorenzo arranged a delightful day drive through the little explored Casentina region where we were introduced to a water run flour mill, friendly welcoming shops that sold herbs, fungi, meat, pottery, wine and even a stopover at a small working farm and at a Castle. Lunch was in a chic modern restaurant in the midst of this ancient land. The weather was beautiful and the cherry trees blooming. And at the end we returned to our wonderful apartment with its charming view and all of Florence before us. Me hospede hace dos años en el apartamento Brunetto y debo decir sin temor a equivocarme que es uno de los mejores lugares donde e estado, aunque es pequeño tiene lo necesario para vivir los mejores días, tiene una excelente ubicación fácil acceso a todos los hermosos. Rincones de Florencia. Lorenzo y su esposa sin los mejores anfitriones siempre dispuestos a ayudarte para hacer de tu estancia inolvidable, para mi simplemente Fueron los mejores meses de vida. Ciao Lorenzo! What an amazing stay... The apartment was exactly what I needed for my 2 week trip to Firenze. It could not be in a more perfect location. Central to all the sights there was never a need for a map as all one needs to do is look up for the Duomo to know exactly how to find your way back home. That is exactly how it felt, like home. Florence is a wonderful place... lots of history, places to visit, shopping, access to bus and train service. First time in decades we have lived very comfortably without our own vehicle. We had a wonderful holiday and escape from the coldest and stormiest part of our winter... long trip home but all the flights were on time and much easier to fly during the day. Spring is coming and sun is shining but not like the -35 when we left and while we were away! Will start to plant my hardier seeds in my greenhouse soon... This place is a dream! Even more beautuful then the pictures! The view is absolutly stunning. It´s very silence and relaxing. The sea is beautiful and the water is christal clear. I have stay at torre apartment next duomo one month, it was really clean and calm and near everything you want, and t he most important thing is that the owner Lorenzo he is very gentle and easy to deal with, u feel home, then I extended 20 more days, and I recommend everyone who go to florence to stay there, the price is reasonable in compare with the location and the service u get...thank u Lorenzo and if I come back I would for sure stay there again,, but next time I would love to stay at apartment with terrace,,would be amazing...grazie

I took an Intensive Italian course at a school near the Duomo with my husband. Apartment“Giotto“ is located in the best location. After the lessons we could come back home and had a lunch, sometimes took a nap. Then it was easy to go back to school again. In the evening we really enjoyed walking around the city, seeing events and visiting museums. I can really recommend the apartment, if you spend time like this! We didn´t notice much noise at all and we were there for a week (beginning September). If you like cooking the kitchen is fully equipped and is large. There is also a small outside space which is lovely. I really can´t find anything negative to say about this apartment, it´s all good, my husband said the show could maybe do with tweaking i.e. the water supply but that apart we had a wonderful time there. L, our contact, was lovely, very helpful, courteous and kind. If you´re looking for a comfortable apartment in a great location, then look no further. Lorenzo was great, he was really helpful, not intrusive, kind and polite a real credit to your company.

Very spacious and location was so central - everything was close by. Really needs a kettle and a small sharp knife would have been helpful if you are intending to do most of your catering. Lorenzo very prompt and helpful with lots of information.

10.0 Martin, Baruth, Germany From 24 April 2013 to 30 April 2013 Die großzügige Wohnung direkt am Duomo hat uns gut getan. Sauber, geräumig, mit bürgerlich-antikisierendem Flair. Die Absprachen mit L. vor der Anreise waren übersichtlich und informativ. Empfang sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Begleitung sehr gut. Schwierigkeit: So hinreißend der Blick aus dem Fenster auf Domplatz und Baptisterium für Kunstliebhaber auch ist, der nächtliche Lärm, der von unten heraufbrandet, ist für sensible Ohren schwierig. Dagegen waren die Domglocken relativ harmlos. Also: Service hervorragend. Wohnung stilvoll, dazu praktisch ausgestattet. Wunderbares Wohnen im Zentrum, nahe den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. “Secret Hide-out“ This is a place you actually don´t want to share with anyone, because it is too good to be true. On top of the rocks with pure magic to look out to, this apartment actually lives as a private villa with its own private garden and solarium. Fully equiped, you only have to bring your own wine, and with that you don´t want to leave your chair anymore. Unless you want to take the free shuttle to one of the two private beach clubs where your free chair and matress with umbrella are waiting for you. And the food... There is a personal reception by the owners, that don´t live there, with extensive explication and tour around. Surely people can make trips to hsitoric places or natural wells, but who would want to descend from heaven on earth, so don´t tell anyone.

Maison avec vue...incroyable sur la mer L´emplacement de cette maison est absolument remarquable avec une vue superbe sur la mer. Un endroit parfait pour se reposer, lire, méditer mais également passer des vacances avec des amis comme cela était notre cas. La maison est parfaitement équipée avec un propriétaire qui répondra à toutes vos attentes. La mer est à proximité (15 min a pied) avec un cadre enchanteur. My Mum and I had the pleasure of spending 8 days here while in Florence. Lorenzo was a great host, very caring and helpful. There was a detailed folder with everything in it that you may require during your stay. My Mum ended up sick (Bronchitis) and we found in the folder a British Doctor 5 minutes from apartment. The apartment is clean, very comfortable and the terrace is delightful. I enjoyed many mornings having coffee and biscotti out there with a couple of friendly little birds and the chiming of the Duomo bells. A couple of nights we had musicians playing in the street, which was a bit of fun. As we were leaving the Jasmine was flowering and smelt divine. Wifi works very well. The location could not be better, we walked everywhere and plenty of places close by to buy food to cook at apartment and also many restaurants. We loved feeling like we were in the heart of the city as you could also shop, drop of your purchases and start out again! We would not hesitate in staying here again. It was a truly wonderful week. Thank you so much Lorenzo for all your help and we hope that we will be able to return one day to enjoy it all again.

We are only too happy to write feedback on our stay in Firenze at the Battistero apartment. Florence is a wonderful city - its architecture, history, art and people all make it a city to come back to. It was Moira´s 4th time in Florence, my third and this time we decided to use it as a base to explore more of Tuscany- Siena. Pisa, Fiesole and San Gimignano were all places we spent pleasant time in as well as the streets and galleries of Florence. The apartment was perfect for us. Its location on the Duomo Square meant it was central to all we wanted - walking distance to the rail station, the long distance and local bus stations, plus galleries, markets, restaurants and shopping. It was well fitted out,all we needed to was there; it was comfortable, clean, easily accessed by the lift, and plenty spacious for us. The assistance of both you and Susan was invaluable and the whole experience was a pleasure. The wonderful location. The owner very friendly and helpful, could count on your help when we need it and it brought us information practice in the city. The apartment fulfilled exactly with what we expected, the pictures do not lie, very clean, spacious, kitchen and bathroom equipment... for our needs (3 adults and a girl), comfortable beds with perfect thread sheets, AA with good performance (much heat in Florence at this time). Only add some more practical wardrobe. Garage close to reasonable price already agreed. Global 9-10/10 points and thank more sincere to the owner for their kindness.

I stayed for 3 weeks in a Pozzetto apartment. The apartment was ideally located, being only about a 7-8 min walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Excellent restaurants and bars were just minutes away as was the Ponte alla Grazie and hence more restaurants and shops on the other side of the river Arno. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped for self catering.

We would like to thank Lorenzo and Susan for the opportunity of staying in their charming apartment. For us, there could be no better place to stay in Firenze. It’s a real ‘home away from home’ - spacious and comfortable. There’s a superb terrace, an ideal place to have a meal or to relax after a day’s sightseeing. There’s something very special about having a terrace such as this in the middle of such a vibrant city- we felt very privileged. The entrance to the apartments is charming as well - filled with books, ornaments, brochures and even containers of lollies for all to enjoy. The location is excellent, so close to the Duomo yet only 15 minutes from the station. All attractions are within easy walking distance and we found a real advantage in being able to call in at the apartment for lunch or to have a break between museums, galleries etc. Lorenzo is an absolute delight, nothing was a trouble to him. Before our arrival he provided us with advice and exact directions to the apartment. He then met us at the apartment and provided us with a map and information on attractions and suggestions of what to see and do. As we had a car, Lorenzo organised a private garage where we could leave our car and on the day of our departure, he rang the garage to make sure the car was ready and got one of his staff to help us with our luggage. So thoughtful! We had a wonderful stay in this delightful apartment and would love to return one day. Needless to say, we have recommended it to all our family and friends.

Buon giorno Susan and Lorenzo, My husband and I recently spent a week in Florence and stayed at the Michelozzo apartment near the Duomo. Upon our arrival, Lorenzo met us and gave us a very helpful orientation of the city. He provided a detailed map and suggested various activities we would enjoy. The apartment itself was more spacious than we had expected, and the terrace was awesome! The kitchen was small, but so well equipped that we had a chef cook a four course meal with us in the apartment; of course we ate it on the lovely terrace. The location of the apartment could not be more convenient to all of the sites in Florence. Everything is within walking distance. As a bonus, there is a bakery across the street, a grocery store around the corner and a pannini shop three doors down. I would definitely recommend an apartment over a hotel; it provides a much more authentic Florentian experience! Lorenzo stopped by on our departure day and arranged for transportation to the airport. He even gave us a beautiful gift to remember this trip. We can´t wait to return to Firenze. Date of stay 09/25/13 Review Submitted 10/09/13 I’ll remember two things about this apartment long after the details of our visit to Florence are forgotten: • seeing the Duomo and bell tower (280’ tall) filling my field of view when I walked into the street from the apartment. It’s an astonishing sight, every time you leave the building. • hearing the bells peel from Giotto’s bell tower. Barely audible inside the apartment, they’re powerful and clear from the terrace. I’m hard-pressed to explain why, but the effect is magical. This apartment deserves all its good reviews. It is, in fact, “steps from the Duomo” – perhaps 50’ from the Piazza del Duomo, but because the apartment itself faces a side street, it’s remarkably quiet. The terrace is tranquil, the ideal spot for a meal or a drink. Lorenzo, the perfect host, directed us to a good bakery and a small supermarket where we found everything we needed for meals. He also suggested Perche No! (“why not!”) for gelato. Highly recommended. (Try fig, if it’s in season.) Also highly recommended is the tiny Chapel of the Magi in the otherwise not terribly interesting Palazzo Medici-Riccardi. In a city filled with treasures, it’s my favorite work of art. Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This apartment could not have been better. The photos do not do it justice. Everything was better than described. Clean and abundant with space. There are no small rooms. The Kitchen is large and stocked. There is a terrace off the kitchen with table and chairs that has a nice view of Fiesole. The living room is loaded with all the usual electronics, library of books on and about Italy, and the layout is comfortable. I reckon you could sleep 6 comfortably in this room alone as every piece of furniture can pull out to make a bed. There is an extra room too. A large entry equipped with a full size futon. The bathroom is also large with lots of surface area to place toiletries. The bedroom was comfortably made up with twin beds for us but the usual is a queen bed. And there is a lift. LOCATION! Open the windows and stand back, all you can see is the Cathedral. Our host Lorenzo is kind and most helpful. He really cares that you have a good holiday. He helped us arrange train tickets, hailed us a taxi for us and made sure we were on our way safely and on time. I don’t have one single negative thing to say about this choice in lodging. This is one of the best rentals on VRBO. We WILL be back, as Lorenzo offered to take us on a wine tasting tour of Tuscany next time. I can’t wait. Lorenzo, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm kindness to us, we will not forget you.

Forgot to say that there are no comfortable chairs in the apartment. I would recommend that the owners stay in the apartment for a few nights to see how to furnish it. ALSO....NOT ONE English TV channel. Most tourists who don´t speak Italian, speak English and there wasn´t even a BBC, let alone CNN or Al Jazeera. Fixing those things would make this really good place fantastic!

Our recent trip to Florence was made even more enjoyable by this wonderful apartment! It was just as advertised: clean, efficient & well-maintained. The BIG plus is the location! Not only centrally located near all the major sites one must visit in Florence but there are many nearby amenities. Literally within a 1/2 block there is a grocery store with a friendly staff. Also there are a fish market and a fresh vegetable & fruit stand every day. Across the street is a bakery and our favorite Florence Ristorante. On the corner is the best Gelateria in Florence! The 3rd floor was made easy with a private elevator. WIFI is available at a nominal fee. The other great asset was Lorenzo, who promptly met us at the door, showed us around the neighborhood, making us feel right at home. He was very helpful and always just a text or phone call away to answer questions or concerns. His hospitality and professionalism made this apartment even more enjoyable.

Florence is a walking city, and this apartment provides an ideal home base for exploration. Just minutes from the Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica, and Piazza della Signoria, you step out the front door and are immediately immersed in old world Florence. As other guests have commented, because of its central location, I would often venture out in the morning and then return in mid-afternoon to relax and regroup before setting off again. I never had experienced Florence during later hours (22:00 - 24:00) and the apartment´s locale encouraged that exploration. The apartment has that old world charm, with exposed beams and terrazzo tile, while providing modern amenities. While on the third floor, the building has a lift, so it was easy to deal with luggage, etc. The small kitchen has gas range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. and of course, the essential Moka pots. There´s an easy to operate (not always the case in Italy) washing machine in the bathroom, along with drying racks above the tub/shower. While the apartment is technically a one bedroom, the couch downstairs is actually a futon and there is a rollaway cot in the bedroom. Speaking of bedroom, it is quite large, but since it´s technically an attic apartment, the ceiling slopes quite a bit on one side so you need to mind your head. While I initially just appreciated the apartment´s location because of its proximity to sites I wanted to see, I ultimately appreciated the neighborhood itself. Just a few doors down is one of the best reviewed gelaterias in town: Perche No (the best in my opinion). Around the corner is a bakery with fresh baked bread and panini at unbelievable prices. On the next street over is a semi-famous pizzeria with a wood-fired oven making some of the best Neopolitan style pizzas. The supermercato on the next block provides all the essentials along with some great fresh products - very friendly as well. Even the gentleman in the souvenir shop across the street was very hospitable and even helped me a bit with my Italian. You are also a block away from Via del Corso, which is lined with wine bars, ristorante, mercado, and other specialty shops. If you ever tire of Tuscan wine (I guess that could happen), there´s a beer bar on the corner serving Italian and German craft beers. Otherwise, Lorenzo is great to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely rent from them again. Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Appartement extraordinaire et tres bien dimensionné pour une famille de 3 enfants. Meme la salle de bains a une vue plongeante sur le Duomo. Et depuis la cuisine, on voit d´un côté le Duomo, de l´autre la campagne (+2 chambres plongent sur le Duomo aussi). Du coup aucun vis a vis ! Appartement au 5e etage dans un bel immeuble ancien, avec toutes les fonctionnalités necessaires. Aucun defaut donc, et surtout, accueil tres chaleureux et sympathique de L., qui est tres agreable, nous a donné de bons conseils que nous avons suivi.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment for two weeks in August. The location was as good as it gets and the window views of the Duomo and Piazza were stunning. The apartment was roomy, well-equipped and very clean. The lift was an added bonus. Florence is hot in August but the apartment stayed cool and comfortable. Street noise was never a problem; the apartment was quiet. Lorenzo, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed him. Grazie di tutto, Lorenzo!

This very clean and very spacious by all standards apartment was an amazing last minute find for us (a family of three). Its location is excellent, the owners are efficient, friendly and helpful, the place is very safe, and everything you might need is there. The views will take your breath way. My girlfriend,Manon, and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week in May. It was the perfect location close to everything! Great restaurants,grocery store/ market, museums/ historic sites and all the shopping you could possibly want were all within walking distance. The apartment had everything we needed and our most favourite part was the beautiful,private terrace. The owner, Lorenzo, was very nice providing us with a map and helpful hints on places to go and sites to see during our stay. He also went a step above when I asked him if he could provide me with some tape to patch up some cracks in my suitcase that occurred during my travels. Near the end of our stay, I came home to the apartment one day and he had taped it all up for me !!! What a thoughtful and generous host. The location is the best attribute of this apartment. When you go out of the building you can see the Campanile and Duomo just few meters from you! Also you have Piazza della Segnoria, Piazza della Repubblica and the most important places at walking distance. The apartment is small but comfortable and the owner very kind.

The house at Caserosse is a little piece of paradise - beautiful and fully equipped. Set overlooking the Meditteranean and the island of Giglio, the house has wonderful private gardens, hammocks, decks, chairs and a choice of balconies. In fact it would be easy to have a beautiful holiday without leaving the house and its garden. But there is the wonderful scenery, a mountain to climb, wine to drink at local vineyards, the sea to swim in. fish to eat, and a ferry ride to the island of Giglio. Perfect - do not miss the chance to share the beauty and idyllic ambience of Caserosse.

We were met at the apartment by Lorenzo Clemente, a delightful gentleman who manages the property for the owners. Lorenzo was prompt and extremely helpful in describing the features of the apartment as well as information about the city and neighborhood. The VRBO photos are entirely representative of the property. The apartment is in an old, rehabilitated building and is classy, clean and in very good repair. There is a small elevator which is the only way to get from the front door of the building (at street level) to the apartment. The apartment is located on a street with lots of shops and restaurants. There was never much of an issue with street noise. Security in the apartment and in the area seems very good. Upstairs is a loft bedroom that is quite spacious but due to a large (low) beam, lacks headroom. I had to be a bit careful at night but it was not a big deal. The kitchen is well equipped including an Italian coffee maker. The living area was comfortable with a couple of large windows looking out over the street. There is a comfortable pull-out couch. There were additional windows in the kitchen and loft bedroom. Ventilation and air-conditioning were certainly adequate during our warm weather stay. The apartment is conveniently located south of the Arno River, between the Duomo and the Uffizzi gallery. I would not hesitate to stay at this apartment again in the future. I can only say wonderful things about my stay at the Battistero. Great location and view; clean, well furnished, and homey; safe; good internet. Lorenze is fabulous; always available and accommodating. Without a doubt I will stay at the BATTISTERO, or DUOMO, the adjacent apartment, whenever I am in Florence. We loved our apartment in Florence, and Julia was incredibly helpful in working with our arrival time which was tricky due to train strikes, she checked us in and gave us tons of helpful advise and information. Our friends arrived later and rented the apartment next door! The kitchen was cozy and well equipped and we cooked several meals there during our stay!! The apartment was spacious and the terrace was fantastic, private and inviting! The Cathedral bells of Santa Maria Del Fiore chiming away every morning and evening were enchanting!... A reminder that you are not home, but home in Florence! The location was ideal, right next to the Duomo, a few blocks from Uffizzi and Ponte Vecchio, walking distance to everything you want to see! The location of this apartment is truly amazing! From the front door you have walking access to all major attractions as well as many restaurants. The private terrace is beautiful and perfect for coffee in the morning as well as a lovely glass of wine in the evening. This apartment is perfect for anyone who wants to be in the heart of Florence, yet have the space and privacy you can´t get in most hotels. Lorenzo was beyond helpful and gracious! He went above all expectations to help us and make our stay in this lovely apartment an unforgettable stay. My daughter studied the past semester in Firenze and the rest of the family visited her over 2016 Easter week. What a great central location across from IL DUOMO in the center of old Florence. The location was half way between my daughter´s apartment and her academic buildings on the river. Also convenient to the train station, museums, restaurants, culture and all the markets. I recommend this place if you want to be in the center of the life of this very pedestrian friendly and historic “Birthplace of the Renaissance.“
