How to Make a Reservation

To make a reservation request follow these simple steps:

 

1) Click the Apartments link to view the list of our apartments, along with descriptions, details and photos.

 

2) Once you have found an apartment you like, click the Bookings link.

 

3) Input the dates you would like, select your apartment from the list, fill out your contact information and in the Comments field inset any other requests (high speed internet, museum tickets, etc.).

 

4) Click the Submit button to send your reservation request.

 

We will then email you with the availability of your apartment and the price for your stay.

 

To proceed, you will then need to send us an initial advance payment of part of the rent to guarantee your reservation, which is normally 30%. We will email you the exact amount. Use PayPal or bank/wire transfer to send this payment. We will email you step by step instructions on exactly how to do this.

 

After we receive the payment, we will send you a confirmation email with all of your confirmed reservation information, including contact details and telephone numbers for us, address and map for your apartment, and all other necessary information to help you arrive and check in with ease.

 

When you arrive at your apartment in Florence, we will meet you in person to give you the apartment keys, collect the remaining rent and refundable damage deposit, walk you through the apartment, and explain and show you how to use everything.

 

We will also explain details about places of interest you may want to visit, such as the best museums, churches and restaurants, the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, shopping, nice walks to the Piazza Michelangelo and more.

 

We will also establish the schedule for your departure, so that we can help you check out with ease, arrange taxis and make it to the train station or airport on time when you leave.

 

We are always on hand to help you during your vacation and will do everything possible to help you enjoy your vacation on Florence.

More Important Information

On request, a mid-week change of linens is available for a cost of 12 euro. A mid-week change of linens along with an apartment cleaning is also available. The cost of this service depends on the apartment you rent, and ranges from 45 euro for the smallest units to 85 euro for the largest.

Full payment is required when you check in and take the keys. We do not accept credit cards. You must pay in Euros in cash.

When you arrive and check in we collect an additional refundable damage deposit. For stays of one week or less, the damage deposit amount is 150 euro. For long-term stays a higher deposit is required, contact us for the exact amount.

We ask that you leave the apartment in the same condition you find it. If it is left in a messy condition, we will have to charge a higher final cleaning fee.

Pets: Pets are allowed in some but not all of the units. If you want to bring a pet, contact us and we will let you know which of our apartments are pet-friendly.

Utilities: For stays of one week or less, utilities are included in the price of your reservation, with the exception of air-conditioning. For stays of over one week, utilities are an additional cost. These vary between 1.4 and 9.5 euro per day, depending on the size of the apartment, number of guests and the level of usage.

Parking and Pedestrian Area: The historic center of Florence is a pedestrian-only area. The only vehicles allowed to drive in the center are emergency and service vehicles. If you need to park your car, there is a covered car park about  300 meters from Piazza Duomo, easily reached by walking. A link to a map will be included with your reservation.

Discount for Previous Guests: If you are a previous guest, please let us know when you make your reservation and you may be eligible for a discount.
